awesome truck buddy! my brothers friend has a 7.3, looks almost exactly like yours, bout it for like 3K with 100 some thousand miles, he currently has a tuner on it and it has 250K miles on it and the truck runs 15's in the quarter mile, its a crazy truck lol, should last you like forever!

sweet truck looks nice. I have the same thing but 350 2000. When it is running i love it, since i bought it used 4 years ago i have put in over $12,000 in repairs. I will never buy another ford again.

you dont have the same truck. the 2000 7.3 and the 03 7.3 are very different. different programs and cleaner runing parts. you really shouldnt base your experience off one truck either. i have a 2000, and have 142k trouble free miles.

when buying a used vehicle you cant have high expectations if it hasnt been taken care of you will have issues if it ha been fully maintained properly you shouldnt have many problems i will buy used and i never expect much from the trucks i buyand when they turn out good its a bonus

I do want to put a plow on it...but im not sure if i want to take it off my 7' meyers plow off my older dodge or just get a bigger plow for it..im thinking a ultramount western....

Yup !!! a pioneer head unit...Nav,dvd player,back up camera,upgraded inside speakers that sound incredible...i even have the original window sticker from when it was new !! it list all the options that came with it...if anyone cares to see it i can run it through the scanner...but I'm very happer with the truck...its a huge upgrade from my 91 chevy 1500...which by the way is for sale...

That inside of the truck is clean. I really want to upgrade to an extended cab truck instead of my single cab. I guess I'll just have to wait and see how lawn care and fire fighting do for me next year, maybe I'll upgrade then.

Dude just dont talk diesels if you dont know them. They are the ame engine. the 99-01 have powdered metal rods. they can handle more hp. the 01-03 have weaker internals. as far as tuning from the factory they are the same. The oo and 03 are essentially the same engine from the factory.

:laugh: That & the fact they can go for more than 400,000 miles with simple basic maintenance of fluids & filters. Like the 300 I-6, tough, made with industrial use in mind... There's no great profit in engines & drivetranes that last... :rolleyes: Computer-chips are made to keep manufacturers rich for the life of the vehicle... ya might say theses days their more into making "long-term-investments" for their own pockets, instead of ours :laugh:

I remember in August when i went from a 97xl f150 single cab to my 04 supercab FX4. Washed it up last night and I still love it from head to toe lol.
