Hey felas I have looked at the search button allready. I have seen some ideas I have in mind.
The question is does anyone have a leaf box on their dump trailer that is easy to take off and on. The last three we have had to destroy because we could not get them off. Built into the pockets and was pretty much one piece.
Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:waving:

Here's mine. 5 panels plus the rear door...comes apart in 30 min. and is very strong when together. I actually, cut out some of the wood and replaced with mesh fabric this year to lighten it up a little bit. I'll take some pics as it's going together later this week...

Mine is almost finished, i'll have to put picks up this week.
My dump trailer allready has a 5ft landscape gate on it so thats the back. For the front and sides i used 1.5" square stock and built a frame and tacked some tight 1/2" (i think) flat mesh on to the frames. They go in place of my wood side boards and my 16hp lesco vac mounts on the passenger side of the trailer. The last thing i need to do is put on a tarp for the top and find a way to elbow the shoot twards the back of the trailer. I'm thinking about using stove pipe.
The trailer sides only way about 20lbs and come out real easily then i just put my side boards back in. Though these may get left on for when its time to haul mulch in the spring.

No need for narration as it's fairly self explanatory...

More more more...The only thing left to do is put on the top tarp and hang the hose...all done in about an hour. I spent some time dicking around with the rear door hardware and made a couple changes to stiffen up the door as it's riding along. Last season the door would shift a bit while hauling and eventually pull some hardware screws out. This setup should last as long as I need it to...

Thanks!
1. Mesh tarp...this particular one I got for free because of some screw ups with the company I ordered from. You know I paid by cc online and never got any confirmation or any kind of communication from them...finally after a few weeks a woman called and apologized and said her company was experiencing difficulties and she said she would ship it at no cost to me.
Just google mesh tarp and you'll see lots of companies selling them. I didn't pick that color...it's just what they sent.
2. It's probably the same as yours but they do come in different "strengths"
3. The stake pockets pretty much hold the panels in place and I use a metal collar tie on the inside and a 2x4 on the outside to keep them aligned. Then the strapping on top and the one 2x4 in the joist hangers ties in the top.
