Color of Your Work Truck

What color is your work truck??

Right now Red and White are the colors of both of the trucks but eventually I want to paint both to a olive green.

Mine's red. That's the color it was when it was when I got it and seeing that I got it from a silent auction where my dad used to work, I didn't have a whole lot of choices. But for my next truck I may go with red again (I personally think that Dodges look good in red) or possibly black.

What is your guys' opinion on the clearance lights on the top of the cab? I for one think that they offer a good contrast to the color of the body and add a safety factor by increasing visibility at night or in poor visibility conditions. Plus they look cool.

1 truck red dodge ram 1500 with red and gray trailer other is a silver dodge dakota with a black and gray trailer so basically everything is color coordinated

Painting them all the company colors "red and black" has been on my to do list for years but just cant seem to get to it.

I bought a gold truck b/c the price was right... but I miss my white one. It was a moving billboard for the company, but the gold doesn't lend itself to the same distinction.

Red. . . which is alright (and the truck is great). . . but having a green logo can make you look like a bit like Christmas all year long - i.e. no signs on the truck. lol

it depends on the location and what name we are under but xls trucks are lime/neon green with black letters .
The Lawn Guys is yellow with lime green letters

all the other lco's in my area have white trucks so i am going to set my self apart and paint my two trucks silver and with my green and orange logo i hope it looks good. I also have a print shop that is going to take a picture of grass that I have and make a wrap that will only go around the bottom of the truck. I am also putting astro turf on the doorpanels and making custom floormats with it as well. I used to paint and customize cars before getting in the lawn game and i still have the itch to customize everything. I had even been thinking about painting all my equipment the same silver with the same logo and grass theme. wife put the kibosh on that idea.

Both of my current trucks are Black. I run an older 80's chevy which gets alot of attention because of its age and nobody else has them. If they do, they look like crap. Wit the black color i have goldish lettering. I believe it stands out over the contractor white i see everywhere.

Beige for me! I can let it alone for months without washing and it still doesn't look like it's really dirty!

White however is better for resale value.

thats sorta the color I wanted on my next truck. I wanted dark green and yellow lettering but I cant be picky when buying used plus I realized GM doesn't have that color after 07

who you tellin, mine does too, it needs to be repainted, but it will be the same color no doubt and my next one if its not blue i will paint it too lol
