I am basically trying to figure out how to "START OVER" with my used weed trimmer Sthil FS110R that were purchased used and does not know the back ground of it. It looks OK and runs OK. But some one told me about SEAFOAM to clean out the engine.... but how about Lucas Oil?

also how to use them on my 2 cycle 4 mix motor ?

Please help this young mom! any educated guys out there on this subject ?

Seafoam is some AWESOME stuff. Use it in your vehicle too.

I mean....how about taking off the carb and soaking it it in carb cleaner? New plug, air filter, fuel filter?




Just saw you said you were a young mom. I take it no husband or boyfriend since you are asking for help here. Maybe ask a guy in the neighborhood to help you replace what I suggested. Don't take it to a small engine repair shop because they will rob you!

I realize that you are new to LS but is there a particular reason why you are asking questions about a trimmer in the Heavy Equipment and Pavement Section?

Last time I check a weed trimmer is not heavy equipment. There are sections on here for that kind of stuff.
