I will donate a testicle if you actually get this job.

I sure wouldn't go that far. But this will be some interesting reading.

Seriously..someone usually has an inside track to these things. I knew a guy who had similar contract....much larger actually.

It'd be difficult to get enough of the right equipment if it's only an annual contract.
Plus it'll cost more than you would imagine. For instance a set of turf tires like these;http://www.mccordtiregroup.com/m_20.asp could approach the cost of a good used tractor.
I'd try to fit in some big commercial equipment like a Toro 580-D (16' cut 80 HP) or a Howard Price HP180 (16' cut with a Cummins diesel)
They're both zero turn and relatively trailerable.
You can find pretty good used ones probably for less than a tractor w/batwing mower.
I personally don't think your 6 ZTR's are up to the job. I mean I love Kubota power, I just think their ZTR's aren't durable enough. Plus Z's would eat up a lot of manhours. Where something like what I operate The Toro 455-D has a 10.5' cut and will trim better than a ZTR.
Just my personal opinions and I've always trended toward more equipment and fewer man hours.

It all depends on the layout of the acreage. If its big and wide open....leasing a cutting machine with a 15' cutting width is a start. You will need to increase the feet cut per employee more so than you might be used to. There are many companies out there that will lease used equipment designed for this purpose.
