Ok well heres the deal. My 05 f250 is having some issues. When you crank it up you have to let it warm up for about 10 minutes before you drive it or else it will white smoke like a b**** and bog down at the same time like its gonna turn off. once it warms up its fine and is just a little sluggish off the line. but once the rpms are up its fine. Im thinkin injectors???

Go to ford truck enthusist forums and post there. It sound like an EGR issue to me. The guys over there will be able to point you in the right direction.

Mine did that last year and it was the egr valve. Same thing you said but as soon as I took off it was like I was spraying for bugs so I took it to ford and had them look at it. I at first thought it was the turbo. I would guess its the egr!

it just had the egr cleaned out and serviced by ford. granted I dont trust our ford dealer for anything. its just that ford paid for it so yea.

If not the EGR than it's likely you need a re-flash on the ECM.

Mine was hard starting and low on power , turned out to be a few bad O rings .

Just got my 06 out of the shop and it was the egr valve and an injector. mine smoked alot also.

When I had white smoke pouring out mine, it was my heads. Got that fixed, thank god it was under warranty, but now I have one or more bad injectors, its sluggish, but usually blueish smoke is the injectors

just turned 116000 and I sure as heck hope its not a head.
