I have a Walker Model C with GHS. Has the 16hp Kohler OHV engine. Unit and engine have 1885 hours on it. The machine itself is very clean, runs and cuts very well (as all Walkers do :D ). I posted on CL about a week ago for $1600 and while I've had several inquires, the fact is I still have it. I've been willing to help deliver and answered all emails and phone calls but getting a little frustrated with people not returning phone calls or emails? Is the price that far out of line? Is someone here interested?

i dont know alot about walkers at all there are none in my area so please forgive my ignorance! does this one have the hopper for bagging? also i see most walkers have smaller engines than other mowers but wouldnt a 16hp be way underpowered? i am in the market for either a bagging system for my exmark, or a used mower and bagger so let me know please and i will check back on here!

Putting up pics always helps. I am looking for a walker anyway. Send me some info on it.

The guys that need a deisel pick up to drive to the grocery store will tell you all day long that it's underpowered. If your cutting 8" of grass with a 48" deck....it might be a little. Not sure about the vtwin 16..but the older single cylinder 16 wil go to about 2300-2500 hrs at best before needing a short block. As long as the frame and cutting system are tru, that would be a very fair value for that machine...almost underpriced.

Graces Landscaping - Yes, to look at the engine size and compare it to others it would seem underpowered. However remember these mowers are for a well manicured lawn, and will not (nor were they made for) cut a farm field. But as long as you cut it every week, I've never noticed it being underpowered. The pics should answer your question on being a bagger. BTW the GHS stands for Grass Handling System.

16 hp can run a 48" walker ghs deck i have a mower identical to yours ran it full time with a 48" deck up untill last year i got a brand new machine and converted it to a 36" deck for back yards i would not think twice about the 16hp motor i was very impressed with the power of mine. A word of warning though to you or anyone the buys it do a cam kit job on it the plastic cam gears get warn from dirt falling on them and rubbing between the belt and eventualy can wear the teeth off and then the motore will start to be off and eventualy trash the engine i do one on my MC every season and im at almost 2100hr w the 16 that everyone said i could only get maybe a 1000hrs out of its all about taking care of them
Is this mower still for sale? Thanks
