ok guys i have a company who is running a 1988 chevy 5500 truck with a lawncare bed with dump we installed 4' walls for debris runs . my question is in the cab over setups what kind of gas milage are you guys getting this will be my determining factor on upgrading . Thanks for the help

no truck is good for mileage unless its a diesel (p-stroke or dirty preferably) with a tuner, so w/e u end up buying will have shitty mileage. get used to it
well the main reason i ask was not to save much on milage . i know this truck get like 8 all the time where the smaller trucks f-250, f-250 gets like 16 empty and 10 or less pulling and its alot harder on the 150's.
i was looking at the same kind of big trucks to see if the engine milage, reliability would even be an increase at all . I know they claim alot higher milage than i can get anyways
