Coopers.........I had both of those units for about 10 years. Got rid of the manure spreader some time ago because we ran out of room to spread manure.....now I haul it off. I used the seeder to reseed the bare spots in my pastures and also plant pastures.....sold it to a near by sod farm who uses it more than I do. I loved it. The only thing I did not like about the seeder is that the packer at the back did not quite "do it" for seed coverage, so i added a piece of C channel on the back as a final drag and got better results. My unit was a land pride unit.....same set up as this one. The only problem I ever had was moisture getting in the down tubes which caused clogging.....keep those moisture free, and it is a running dude.

I used to have a LandPride overseeder similar to that as well. Worked great for renovation, winterkill, and even used it frequently for new seeding. Best results going 1/2 rate and making 2 passes creating a diamond pattern. The lawn will fill in much faster. In damp conditions, I did have the same plugging issues as well in the seed cups.
I seeded my new lawn this past spring and rented a Frontier thats the same idea. Acutually worked quite well.
