View Full Version : Complimentary bagging for the remainder of the season

Well some of my accounts said they do not want to pay for fall cleanups:cry: so I just mow and mulch those ( it looks horrible when I am done):cry:. So I was thinking I should just bag for the rest of the season, what do you guys think, I only have a bag for my 48 though

Bag for your paid cleanups and left em fly for you no pays. A lot of people will play the stupid card and ask why you cant just spend 3 hrs bagging the lawn for $35 instead of charging them for a cleanup.

Dont do it just to make it look good, do it to be paid for it. It is in your best intrrest to realize early that not everyone wants, or wants to pay for an excellent job. Some just want the grass cut so the neighbors dont call the city on them, some want it to look decent, some want it to look great, and some you cant please. You will soon realize in what category everyone should be and treat them accordingly.

There is just no reason to pick up those leaves after mulching. These mowers can almost make them disappear. You should hardly be able to tell that you didn't bag. Take a big blower and scatter the stuff. Hardly nobody will pay extra in our area.

Nope, you should not do it for free. If you start doing that this year, then next year they will expect it too. You need to get paid for the work you do. a By starting to do stuff for free early in your business adventure it will be hard to break the habit. Just my 2 cents.

If a customer doesn't want to pay for a leaf cleanup that's fine by me.

if they dont want leaves done thats fine. However, depending on how bad the leaves are we will not mow the lawn either. IT's not worth the mess and cleanup of the mowers IMHO to just cut leaves.
