Isuzu gas MPG?

Looking for info from owners of Isuzu box trucks with the gas engine in it. How many MPG do you get average and how much power do the trucks have loaded?

I want a diesel but have found a gas model that I might can work a deal on if it checks out ok.

What model year are you looking at for an ISUZU MPG? Do you still need a truck?

I have the 6.0 in my silverado. Wouldn't want to turn dual wheels with it. Not enough torque. Plenty fast but revs alot. Box truck with that motor would = zero driveability. I drive the diesel NPR's for my AM job and wish I would have got 1 for my biz rather than the Silverado & trlr.

How about an 18 or 20ft Gas NPR box? I'd be interested.

Even though they both have the 6.0, the NPR has some big gears in the back. Cannot speak to the mpg, but I did demo one with a 14foot dump and it had plenty of torque. I imagine it might strain a little under full load.

If it's like the one pictured below, figure around 10-12mpg TOPS depending on transmission type, and rear gears.

If you need a truck, I have new and used gas and diesel isuzu trucks. I have them with boxes and open landscape bodies. Currently, i have two that are very low miles and a great price

I have a 2004 Isuzu NPR GAS, Automatic, Approx 58k miles 14' box with a 4' dovetail, for $16,900 + tax, tag and title pickup in Atlanta GA
