Driving by the bobcat dealership on Saturday when I noticed they had a new M Series sitting in the lot. So i stopped in, took a walk around, then climbed inside. The little changes seemed to be very noticeable. First thing i noticed was how much lower the bottom of the door is which makes it even easier to see the bucket edge. You could feel that the cab was roomier which i think the extra rounded door helped. I love the location of the new throttle as well as the other buttons which make it much more convenient. The left side gauge panel is the same as mine in my 185 but the new one on the right is a big advancement seems like. I also like the operation of the sliding windows ( much easier ). Things i wasn't overly impressed with: the pop holder seemed cheap, not sure that will hold up to well, and when i started it it wasn't nearly as quiet inside as i had expected it to be but i didn't get to run it very long either. I would have like to spend some more time with it but the kids were hounding me to go to the next stop where i promised them some popcorn ( homedepot ) lol.

Did it look like this? My new toy to play with. The floor is now level, no more speed bump on the T630..

Nice they included JCB, but where are Magnum and Komatsu? You should include all the "competitors" (ahem) in your competitive comparison.

maybe I missed it but looks like they left out the bucket breakout and loader breakout forces too. Hmmmm.

Yeah, what about Thomas? Didn't they have a track machine?

It appears to spec as more of a tweener to a 190 and 250.

All that extra crap in the cab won't make you more money.
That T630 compares to the old T200, like if it were a T220.
My dealer wants to sell me a narrow track T630, nope.

The T630 that has a Enclosed cab: Heat/AC,Power-Tach,Back-up Alarm 74" Bucket: Lists for:$51,000

If you add HF,Bkt Positioning,Sound Cab,Next Gen Keyless,Roller suspension,18" tracks is still under $60K.. I think your salesman hates you..

It was a little tongue and cheek. I'm glad they copied CAT and improved upon it. Many OEMs do. I'm glad Bobcat made the changes they did. We'll see what they look like after a year or two like that CAT.

No harm digs, I think New Holland started the boat throttle thing back in the day..Thats probaly the only thing the other OEMS took from NH..I know they had the super boom but bobcat did come out with the 7753...

At least us Cat owners don't have to rip down the head liner to get to the wires, let's see what's under the head liner on the M series.
