I failed to mention that this is a yearly reseed.

How's the condition of the lawn now? Are you just overseeding?

Also will be putting any starter fert down?

Are you verticuting or aerating?

my truck payment is $800 so I guess thats how much I'd charge so as to cover the payment.

no fert or aerate, i am told the lawn is in good condition.
Do I need to use a power seeder or just spreader?

now I found out that the back is Fescue and the front is Bermuda. He is wanting to seed the fescue in the front. Will the fescue eventually take over the bermuda if reseeded yearly, also should I dethatch the bermuda the slit seed?

If it was me I would cut the turf down to about 2 inches, bag it up, verticut it and then overseed.

I stick with 5 Lbs of seed per 1000 sq ft. I get mine in 50 Lb bags so 5 bags would be more then enough.

I pay around $75.00 per bag.

Seed = $375
Cutting short and bagging = $150.00
Verticutting = $120.00

$645.00 would be my price.

Thats also assuming that the entire acre is turf, its in good condition, and you are just overseeding for the year.

FYI, this is something that should of been done about a month ago.

Beats me. We dont have a lot of bermuda grass up here.

I would assume though that the bermuda would choke out the fescue.
