Hello im bidding on a big mowing job.It states in the contract that they have 300,000 square feet to be sprayed with Herbicides.I will be contracting this part out im in louisiana.So what would be the going rate to do this you cant spray more than a 100,000 square feet aday would appreciate any info on this thanks Outdoor.:usflag:

First of all, what are you talking about with this comment? Is this your assumption or part of the contract?

This is part of a contract i want to sub out spraying the herbicides

wow, sounds like a bunch of crap and i would not bid it, but that is me. i hate stupid stipulations like goverment contracts

I agree...

If I had to break up a 300K lawn into 3 days I would add so much I wouldn't even get the bid!

That is so stupid not to let you knock it all out at one time!

3 trips, 3 times to unload is a bunch of crap!

Are you saying that it specifies in the contract that you are not allowed to spray more than 100,000 sq ft a day?

Or are you saying that you can't spray more than 100K a day due to time and or equipment limitations.

Cuz I have a 200 gallon tank sprayer that can do 100K +/- per tank and I can get 4 maybe 5 tanks sprayed out in a day if conditions are right. Maybe more if it was all wide open and flat.

Sounds like you about to get in over your head.

4.50/k. going rate here (unless you're tg). I think they're closer to 3.50/k.
