***ANOTHER INDUSTRY FIRST***

If you install low voltage lighting within 10ft of a pool or spas edge you are in violation of the NEC. You can not legally put a low voltage fixture within 10ft of a pool or spa.

Today, that all changes with the introduction of our revolutionary Intelli-Fiber Optic 24 Volt Lighting System.

Separate yourself from the competition and do it right!

You can now add Intelli-Fiber Optic fixtures within 10 feet of the waters edge on pools and spas. Why? Only light passes through the Intelli-Fiber making it NEC code 680 compliant for pool and spas. There is NO voltage or electricity to the fixtures.

The industry's first and only 24v fiver optic illuminator transmits light through fiber optic cable that terminates in our modified fixtures. You can now incorporate selected path, area, step, or Nova well lights factory modified to accept Intelli-Fiber cable. You can now put lights in places you may have previously never thought possible. Make sure you are compliant.

Interesting product, Joey!

I have several questions:
1) how Illuminator-IFO is protected from weather? Where it should be placed? On the ground, inside house or?
2) if we use this fiber optics with MR16-fixtures - what beam angle we will receive?

Great questions!

The Illuminator is protected by a lid. It is a common design in fiber optic Illuminators and seems to be a proven and reliable method of protecting the illuminator. The videos best explain this visually.

As for beam spread, it is tough to say. Of course it is a bit more narrow due tot he size but withour lenses you can get it pretty close to a BAB.

See the tree on the left which is illuminated with a Nova-IFO

Joey I love the new product and enjoyed the vids. I noticed a fan in the Illuminator, is this for the lamp and other components to remain cool?

How hot does it get?
Do the dist. have pricing yet?
What kind of lamp life can you expect from the 250 watt?
What type of maint. will be required for the Illuminator?
Do the ends of the fiber optics ever have to be cleaned?

Great questions Steve! See below in red.

Joey I love the new product and enjoyed the vids.

I noticed a fan in the Illuminator, is this for the lamp and other components to remain cool? The Fan cools the lamp and the fiber optic port.

How hot does it get? Not sure on the actual temp but the Illuminator will be cool to the touch.

Do the dist. have pricing yet? Yes!

What kind of lamp life can you expect from the 250 watt? The lamp is only rated for 50 hours at 24volts. We run that lamp at 22.5v MAX and cool it with a fan so we estimat a lamp life between 500 and 700 hours. We do include an extra lamp with each kit. These are the longest lasting lamps we can get at that wattage.

What type of maint. will be required for the Illuminator? Just replace the lamp, clean, and visually inspect!

Do the ends of the fiber optics ever have to be cleaned? Not to my knowledge. I would assume in the fixtures they will remain clean. When used externally they may yellow a bit? Not sure, but I do not believe any cleaning will be neccesary. I will look into this.
