So I am trying to remove the slop in the rear wheels of a 22040, and find that the bearings- ball and needle- have excessive slop. I don't want to spend $50 each on 2 new Pivot Arm assemblies when I know I can replace the bearings and seal. Question is- how to get the old stuff out?

I cant tell much by the exploded views offered by Toro- so if you have done this before, please clue me in.

Thanks!

Try j.thomas.com. Cheap parts and they fit

Thanks for the j-thomas.com tip.

Maybe I was not clear- parts are not my problem. I'm looking for info on how to get that small bearing out. After years of service, it is pretty much welded to the adjuster housing, and using a punch, I ended up knocking the outer lip out of shape- dropped all the bearings on the floor, and now noting left to "punch" against. The inner edge is hidden behind a land in the housing.

I suspect people who do this regularly have developed a process to get these out.
