Just sold my 2008 permagreen magnum and going to upgrade to a z-spray for next year. Before I call up the company and order one, I just want to hear some of you guy thoughts on which one to purchase. Most of my lawns range from 10k to 33k and most of them are not wide open and I have two townhouse assoc which are not wide open either, 160k each. I was thinking a 36 junior with a 200 pound hopper, good choice?

If you dont have alot of gates go with the intermediate.I have had all 3 models the inter. fits my needs better. Also consider the aux tank.

we have all three models, our intermediate and junior have two aux tanks for a total of 32 gal capacity on each machine. this way we have three seperate tanks for three dif mixes, more handy than we ever thought!

i agree with bob, the intermediate with 200 lbs and three(not two) total tanks if you dont have small gates, otherwise same thing but junior.

Yep I have one aux tank and hope to add the other this winter its easier to run back to the truck and add 100 lbs of fert than wait to load a tank.Plus wider tires better on hills.

What different kinds of product do you keep in the aux tanks, more expensive weed control? Is the boom 8 ft long or 64 inches?

I agree with the above guys, I would get an intermediate and at least one aux tank. You can put other weed control like Q4 or Speed Zone in it, or just use it for extra capacity.

The intermediates have a 8 foot spray width. IMO it would be the best fit for 10-30k yards. You have enough dry and liquid capacity where you shouldn't have to refill while doing any of your normal properties.

well, i have had trimec plus in one tank as i know i would need it for some lawns, and one tank speedsone and one with surge etc, i service many of the lawns i spray every week by mowing, i get a good idea before i go bacl to treat that yard what is needed or just by the weeds i have to deal with on that round, i
\\\

round 4 ths year i had q4 in the rear tanks and surge in the front for most lawns as q4 for ex can get pricey to use lots of it.

You can never have too many tanks...or carry too many products!

That is the key to being effecient!

The funny thing is that I have been using my permagreen for two season, which I just sold the unit yesterday and I just saw a large company in my area using a z-spray junior. I asked my a couple questions and I think that's the model for me. What is the width of the intermediate?

You have to get what model suits your business best!

Only you will know that!

No matter what size you get...you are getting a Z-Spray and you will love it!

Great luck!

i believe it is 46 in, i know it is just small enough to get in a 48 gate and that was important for us

I believe they have all the specs of each machine on the z-spray website.

Easy to compare.

just wish the handle on the reel didn't stick out two inches longer than the rest of the machine. Mine is bent to hell.
