That is the perfect machine for you junior

That is one old JCB. Caterpillar used to make one like that where the backhoe boom slide side to side.

If they had something strong enough to dig the hole, they would..

GR:
I think I'll keep renting before I go jumping on owning a machine like that..

JCB doesnt stand for Junk Constructed in Britian for no reason!

Oh JCB is junk alright I spent way too much time in a JCB backhoe it is not a quality built machine thats for sure.

Case backhoes are the best you can't beat a 580 or 590. Cat backhoes are a imbalanced piece of junk and John Deere isn't much better.

Yea funny too how Jcb sells the most backhoes out of any one. I own 2 Jcb excavators (js160,Jz140) both 07 models. And i love them. Im sure there older stuff may not be up to par but the newer stuff is great.

I believe the JS series is actually a Sumitomo excavator is it not?

The original JS machines were developed in a joint venture with Sumitomo. JCB bought out of that joint venture several years ago (at least 6). The machines very much resemble Case and Link-Belt machines. Bucket geometry is an exact match. There are however, several different features.

They just opened a new excavator production plant this year.
