I am just starting out and looking for a good affordable zero turn mower that is good while affordable. I can't afford much over $3k. Does anybody have any feedback on John Deere's? Thx.

Concerning ztr's, good and affordable don't go together very well.
Somebody was telling me about a JD estate series Z that has a special deep deck, a 7-iron made out of slightly thinner stock, but they paid a little over 5k for it.

Introductory Commercial mowers are between $5-6K. Hustler has A Hustler SPORT 42" for $3,099.00 with a welded deck. Only 90 day commercial warranty, but its better than what JD is offering.

What exactly do you consider a zero turn? On here a lot of us consider walk behinds, standers, and riders to be zero turns as they will do a zero turn.

Any type of ZTR that has two seperately driven wheels.
