stihl bg-85 wont run.

i have a stihl bg-85 handheld blower. it ran fine one day and then after i shut it off, it wouldnt refire. i changed the spark plug thinking that was the problem. now it fires up but it runs at idle even at full throttle. it does this for about a minute then shuts off. any idea of what could be wrong? thanks.

Bad coil or kill circuit ..... Depending on the age and if you are the registered owner the coil is under warranty for 2 years parts and labor and 5 years parts. Take it to a Stihl shop and have them test it to determine if its the coil.
