I had a customer that was looking at buying either a John Deere Z850A zero turn and I was wondering how they have held up in comparison to an eXmark NEXT Lazer. Any feedback is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tell him to go for the 900 series JD if he really likes JD.

Unless you have no other option you could go with the 850 but like Noob said, go with a 900 series as the first choice, then exmark, then the 850a.

I think the 800 series are good machines with the updates, and the 900's are alot better

My uncle that I some times help was trying to decide this same thing. We have a 500x deere, forgot the #'s on the two ferris' , and one older scag. And put a few good hours on a new exmark. The exmark was good but both ferris is a money pit. They are good when their running but thats far and few between days. Was wanting to try out the new 8 and 900 series. Wanting to hear some feedback myself.
