Is there something I don't know about this mower? Why is it so cheap.
Bradley Commercial 52" Riding Mower ZTR 23HP OHV B+S Engine. Seems good. 1 year warranty.
I'm new to commercial mowing, so can someone enlighten me as to what OHV means on an engine?
Thanks, James

OHV stands for over head valve, It refers to the location of the valves in relation to the "head" of the engine.
The reason that the mower is so cheap is because it is NOT a commercial grade mower. Their line "Havener is especially proud of its long association with its manufactories in China which enable it to keep pricing low"" is a dead give away. What you are looking at is essentially a cheap homeowner grade zero turn that is trying to be passed off as a commercial unit. You would actually be better off with a Ztr from Home Depot or Lowes than that thing.
If you want to get a Ztr to start off with, I would suggest you get a good used commercial unit from a NAME BRAND like Scag, Hustler, John Deere, Exmark/Toro, Wright, Bad Boy, or Bob Cat. They may cost a bit more, even used, but these are true commercial grade mowers that are built to handle the use and abuse that we put them through.
