i have a 22 hp kawasaki liquid cooled engine. when i take my spark plug out i can see radiator fluid what does this mean

Somehow your coolant is getting in the cylinder. Don't run it again till it's fixed, as coolant won't lubricate the cylinder like oil will and it could destroy it. I'm sure the mechanics section would have some specific answers on what to look for, but you probably are looking at a trip to the shop.

i agree, hopefully not a head issue itself as those are not cheap

The kawasaki liquid cooled cylinder head is prone to cracking.
The comment about not running it with this situation is accurate, however, the damage has already been done.
How many hours are on the motor? I ask as these motors are not cheap to rebuild and with coolant contaminating the oil you very well may have bearing damage as well.
This is why I refuse to run liquid cooled kawi's - after loosing three to similar problems I said no more.
You may be better off replacing the motor with an air-cooled one.

it has just over 600 hrs on it
