So I let my neighbor use my trailer to pick some stuff up. I figured that there's no way he break anything on it. So he has it for a couple days then when he brings it back, he broke off the end of the wiring harness that plugs into the receiver. So my question is do you know where I can buy a new harness at for a four pronged harness.

Shoot, those are common as all heck.
You should be able to find those easily at any auto parts store like Napa, Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc...

It's hard to believe that someone can have their own business and not have a clue where to buy something as simple as a 4 way trailer plug! Just about every retailer on the market sells them, even a grocery store!
This guy mustn't get out much. hahaha

Does anyone know where I can borrow a leaf loader? I'd prefer the one you're using right now.

My neighbor across the road borrowed a bulldozer to clear out brush and some small trees. He got it stuck and sent his son over to borrow my 2-ton comealong. It was a masdam (over $40.00 at Lowes) and he crushed the spool trying to pull the dozer out.
I wound up having to buy another one. Later he offered to pay for it.

People are really strange. I currently have a flat bed and a dump trailer which i only let family use.
When I lived in San Diego I had a 20 foot Wells Cargo enclosed car hauler I bought for my move to Illinois. One day i was watering the front yard and a car pulled up, the guy got out of the car and acted like my long lost friend. I had no clue who he was. Bottom line he wanted to borrow my trailer to move some furniture, now get this, he also wanted to use my dodge cummins to pull it. Oh yeah, he offered a few dollars for fuel.
The nerve of some people. I said excuse me, my dog wants to come out, she is a pit bull who doesn't like strangers. Lucy the pit bull came out, he got in his car and hauled ass.

Around 15 yrs ago or so, I lent a good friend of mine one of my open trailers. It just so happened that the one that he was lucky enough to get was a new one that I had for only a few weeks. He told me that he had some dock sections that had to be moved for his dad and would only need it for the afternoon on a Saturday. Well, the move took a couple of days. No problem, it was the weekend. So on the following Monday I pulled one of the trucks around to hook up to the new trailer. It had seaweed hanging off of it everywhere and the lights do not work. Come to find out he, his dad and several other family members were putting floating dock sections and shore stations in with it. They were backing the trailer into the lake all weekend with dock sections loaded and were letting them float off. They put in a massive H-shaped dock big enough for two boats and four Sea-Doo's. They also used it to put in their shore stations. Apparently they rested the shore stations on the top rails of the trailer (it had 12" sides) and slid the sections off once in the water. This removed a fair amount of the paint protecting the rails. For some odd reason this trailer started rusting everywhere prematurely. When confronted my friend explained that they did not realize that the trailer would be damaged by backing it into the water and submerging it. He bought me a cheap new wiring harness from Walmart and a couple of light bulbs and apologized. I would like to add that all of the parties that were involved have bachelor & master degrees and are not dummies. I had to repaint the trailer, re-grease the jack, install the el-cheapo harness myself and repack the hubs with new grease and put new bearings in. I got burned.

The saying is...."No good deed goes unpunished!"
If a guy is stuck on the side of the road and you see him.....Just keep driving!
The moment you get out to help you will be the guy with a car hitting you at 65mph. It is a bad stance I know but most of the time it is not "our" job to be the savior!

I got 2 solutions:
1. Get a GN trailer(not everyone and there brother has a hitch for one!)
2. Get a real long, heavy trailer that people are either A) afraid to pull because it is so long B) Dont have a truck big enough to pull
