is trans slipping? fluid burnt? lost a gear? i'm 350 miles away so towing isnt a real good option.

it slips in first, usaully good after that. fluid is burnt tho. I would drive it that far tomorrow if i had a reason to. overall a good truck i just no need for it here.

there is a chipped tooth on the flex plate, sometimes the starter misses, but never has left me stranded (if it doesnt get it the first time it will the 2nd or 3rd) . I do have a flex plate but it is not installed. I was going to do it when i did the tranny.

what kind of plow? is it a powerstroke?

11-23-2009, 08:38 PM
it has mounts for a fisher 3 plug, but i will keep them if you do not want them. I have never plowed with the truck, put the frame plates on and the wiring with intentions of using it, but my buisness plan has changed a little. It does have the powerstroke.

could you take a pic of the plow, new bed, and damaged bed side? thanks

Yes. Have uyou tried to buy that stuff lately? I will show the receipt for the wiring for 800 and the frame plates for 200, never mind the sandblasting bolt bag and installation

Well over the past few months we had to do some work on the truck in order to keep using it.

Work includes:

- Ball joints (4)
- 4 tie rods
- Front axle pivot bushing
- Front axle pivot bracket
- Rear u-joint
- Starter
- Radio
- transfer case fluid, tranny fluid
- Downpipe and custom exhaust (has a cat installed)

The truck body is in the same condition, but I no longer have the spare bed. Truck runs awesome and is very reliable. I still drive it every day and like the truck a lot. Has 3.73 gears i believe.

Updated price $4,000.00 since the work has been completed. I have a older husky tool box that could go with it (kinda shot but gets the job done.) also NO PLOW stuff.
