Such a shame to loose somebody so young. But still haven't figured out how he was dragged into the chipper by a shovel.

it is a shame. but if your shovel goes in?.. how did he end up there?

that what the question is going around here now OSHA is investigating it maybe there will be more insight it to what happened.

wouldnt u let go? i mean a 20$ shovel or your life?

i would have let go. but i think there is more to it. he was probable standing in front of the bin and lost his balance and fell in. cause i don't see how a shovel could drag him in.

i agree it must have been a case of losing balance and falling somewhere that you couldn't recover from. whenever anyone operates these machines the greatest care must be used to ensure you don't get entangled in anything that could be pulled in by the machine.
It is a shame for anyone to lose their life while trying to make a living, much less someone so young.
