Yes, another riding morer suspended by a crane. I assume there was an operator on the crane to swing it around, and the guy "driving" the mower I'm sure was just there to keep the blades going, lol

Don't get me wrong, I've done my fair share of anti-OSHA stuff, like raising somebody to change light bulbs on a forklift, steep hills with the ZTR, and trimming trees in the bucket of a mini-ex, but that right there is pushing it...

What's really funny is he's actually turning the wheel as if he turning the mower. LOLhttp://images.mirror.co.uk/upl/m4/nov2009/1/9/image-3-for-man-trims-hedge-with-ride-on-lawnmower-gallery-427505709.jpg

Look at the section he already finished, compared to the un-cut section, it looks pretty good to me!!

straight out of the "what were they thinking?" dept. Nothing like the right tool for the right job.

Where's the video on here of the guys that had the Lazer hooked up to crane and were trimming the brush over a river bed?

What I cant figure out is if they had a huge crane there, why didnt they just rig up a platform or harness for the guy so it could just lift him up and he could use a normal hedge trimmer? Then he could get the sides no problem. Kinda seems like he wanted attention.

lol obviously he wanted attn because thats wayyyyy to much equipment for that job, and it would cost alot and also take probably just as much time after you got the equipment there, rigged it up, and it still had to be a slow process to get it even like they did the sides.... hell go rent a freakin scaffel if you cant reach the top without a ladder

WOW! HAHA! I would have a chain saw to those privits in the early spring and cut them to a trim-able height, use an extension ladder placed to the top of the hedge, or cut that crazy invasive species to the ground and plant something else for the same price of renting that crane!! This guy is using an amateur mower, which is even more funny to me-a little desperate for work, eh? If he even made any money after that hassle!!! Things I see on this website never seem to surprise me of how stupid people are!!

There's a reason why some people shouldn't breed.
