It all looks good. If your just starting out its cool to use home owner stuff but once you accunulate some cash buy some commercial stuff it will last longer and do a better job.

I started with only a commercial string trimmer. Everything else was home owner stuff. It worked for a while and I used the money I made to get some better commercial equipment. But work with what you have until you absolutely need to upgrade.

IMO the Mclane is a commercial edger, of youve ever seen their website the other things they make are commercial reel mowers and such. My parents had one for close to ten years until the pivoting arm broke, and I loved it, cuts great edges, just learn to contain your mess with it.

I just saw the thatcher recently, looks pretty good and the price is right, I just wish it had a more rigid frame, I can see that steel getting beat up.

Good stuff!

McLane edgers are the best edgers out there IMO...been pretty much the same for the better part of 20 years, so they must be doin something right!

the push blower its noting like a littile wonder or billy goat at all its not the most powerfull but it has a 8hp engine the 2 things i dont like is the front wheel on it bec it started to bend a little and the part where the air or wind comes out there are flaps on the inside to angle the wind to the ground it needs to be fixed to angle the wind more so i made a flap to angle it more (not in the pic) but i must say its good in short grass wet or dry and tall grass its beter dry

the thatcher was 594 or somthing and with tax it was like 600 i love it but i dont think if u had 60 plus yards it would last that long go to sears.com and search gas thatcher or just dethacher and like someone said that steel deck isnt gana last long i say if u got the money go with a bluebird

After you you have done about 25 yards with the sears thatcher sell it to some unsuspecting homeowner for about $350. If you are serious about doing powerraking you will a Classen, Bluebird, or a Yard Marvel. Some homeowner stuff will last surprising long in the field but not that thatcher. The Ariens tillers from HomeDepot will last thru thousands and thousands in income with little investments.
