Here is my 2008 scag turf tiger it has a total of 438 hours on it and 2 mowing seasons. It is in wonderful operating condition. I have changed the oil religiously. The reason for selling is to down size. I am starting to specialize in small residentals and commercial propeties that are done meticulously. I am going to need something closer to a 48" walker. I am selling this mower with the clamshell bagger for 8,200 or with out for 7,000. I will get some more close up pictures tomorrow. But i will put these up for now. They are from this season. Cell number 334-456-1776

This is with the old tube. It now has a new tube.

Nice mower! I have two, a TT 61" and a STT 72". I really need to get a bagger eventually. How do you like the clamshell? I have heard they are a pain to install. How does it vacuum? Does it fill up quick with the 61"?

I like it but it isn't the same as when i had my walker. It vacuums nicely on all yards but on cruddy yards with lots of weeds and dirt it does better than the walker. It fills up semi quickly. You have to be careful not to go to long with out dumping or else you have to take the time to unhook the hose and clean out the tube which is a pain in the rear. I will take some before and after shots of a yard i am doing this up coming week if it quits snowing here in central alabama. The supposed storm hit about an hour ago and it is darn near an 1 1/2 here already. The temp is 26 degree and the storm is supposed to linger for about 6 hours last i heard.

Thanks for the info. I think that's the same storm we're waiting for in Ga.

how much snow did yall get? I went outside this morning at 5 AM and measured and in some spots it was nearly 4 inches. But most places were a little over 2 inches. It stuck and then it rained.... UGH... The rain melted it because the temperatures were above 35 degrees.. Oh well better luck next time. Just think if it is already snowing this early in the season at what it is going to be like in jan and feb.

We didn't get one ounce of precipitation. All that bad weather headed our way and not one drop. The sky was crystal clear all day and it turned into a beautiful day-cold, but beautiful. I prefer it that way.:clapping:

Sorry. I am not that desperate to sell it. And i am not going much lower than 7000 if that. It was 11,300 from my dealer. So it is discounted big time as it sits. Thanks for your interest and when you come up a few thousand it can be yours. Have a good evening and god bless. For 4500 you should be able to go to south east auction in tuscaloosa and get a decent mower you just will not know how much the owner cared for it. Mine has been serviced religously.

Kind of a bad time of the year to sell a mower. You should have no problem getting between 6 to 7 k. Mower is in nice shape. Bump to the top.

The mower cost 8k new without the bagger. I could probably do 5k.

Sorry my friend you are incorrect. This has the liquid cooled 27hp and i have the reciept from the dealer. I bought it new with out the bagging system from slayton brothers in jackson alabama and later added the bagging system... The reciept for my mower says and i quote "$11,238.86" then a bagger was 2600 or 2700 a full year later. So maybe they are that price in your area but not in mine. The kohler air cooled isn't even that cheap here. Heck a 52" wildcat with 26lc is 8600 here. The mower was 10800 plus tax new here. I am staying in the mid to high 6's with out bagger.

Thanks i hate to get rid of it but it doesn't fit my jobs anymore. It truley is a nice machine. I think i might try ebay but you are correct it is the wrong time of year to sell it. I might just hold off until like late feb to try again.

Thanks and God Bless,
Jonathan Sheehan

You're absolutely correct. Mine cost $11,700 with the suspension seat in 08'. I have heard prices in the high $10,000's but I think that's unusual. That machine is priced right and you won't have a problem getting rid of it-maybe an early X-Mas for someone.:clapping:

We are not that far apart! I promise I will take care of her! I saw one on craigslist w/ 175hrs for 6k... so 5k is right on the money. Whacha say? Pick it up tomorrow? I'll put 50 hundreds and a 12-pack in your hand!

Sorry. I will sit on it until i get atleast 6700. Like i said i have don't have to get rid of it. I have enough money to carry me thru the winter and then some and i have no bank note on it. I am a person willing to wait for the right price. This is the only thing i have not sold in the past year that didn't sell with in 3 days of listing it for the price i was asking. If you want it so bad. Just meet me in the mid 6's and it is yours. But until then God Bless and good luck finding a mower for that price in this good of condition.

Unfortunately I don't have a money tree in my backyard like you do! Let me know if you change your mind.

I didn't mean to come across as rude but i was trying to get the point across that i didn't need to sell it.

The truth is that you don't need to sell it. The good thing about trying to sell early is that you can sift through the people who want to buy a Scag, pay what it's worth, versus the one's who just want you to give it away. I bet the dealer didn't just "Give it to you" and the one's looking wouldn't just "give their machines away either." Stick to your guns. That's my attitude-nobody gave it to me and so, I'm not going to give it to someone else. I work too hard!!!!!!!:hammerhead:

Hey i have bought a mower for SE auction and i loved it. I bought my walker there for a good price with 100 hours and was only 1 year old. I say go for it they had a DFI 29 scag there not long ago. They have lots of good mowers. I have seen new tanks go for $1500. Good luck to ya. No he was a good buddy and my dealer said that he got a good deal and i could have gotten the 7500 if i had truley wanted. But a couple hundred less never hurt...
