...I decided to break out some steel wool and aluminum polish to spruce up the valve covers on the 28 Kawasaki. I guess now I need some super fine sand paper to wet sand it...:laugh:

Wet sanding with 600 sandpaper & WD-40 will make it really shine.

i was thinking the same thing! But i wish i had such small responsibilities that all i could think of doing is polishing a valve cover on a lawnmower! All the power too you! :clapping:

man, if you did not wax the whole mower and detail the rest of the engine, then it was a waste of otherwise great work. but man are they shiny. i like shiny things

There's a guy on ebay selling 5-6spoke mags for an exmark...who spends money on this garbage? That's new tires/fuel/misc. expenses. Nice job on the polishing though
