For all of the JD enthusiasts...

On my local cable system, Speed HD has a series of 1 hour programs called "Ultimate Factories" and at 1:00 am Sunday morning (4 hours from now) they are showing the John Deere plant in Moline, IL
It's probably not going to show "Commercial Lawn" products... probably large farm equipment, but just seeing the plant, which I hear is hugh, should be worth it!!!

Right now, they are showing how firetrucks are made at the Pierce plant in Wisconsin!
Cool show!

My recorder is set to record!!

I actually went down to Moline, IL a few years ago and toured a few plants and the world headquarters personally. It was a very cool experience. The factories are all HUGE, alot of times they would have a few wagons hooked together and would tow you around the factory with a tractor. It is a great experience, and if you are interested in Deere at all, I highly recommend you make a trip there some time.

They show you how a combine is made. Pierce trucks are nice but I like E-One better

Well, not exactly, the Greer plant makes a few models of BMW, those models are intended for both the US and abroad. On the other hand, many BMW models are still imported as well.
