yep thats a good reason to mow.
we are going to skip the collection and feed in situ
2.8 tons per acre is good #S

The lawns which insist on gathering the clippings, are usually the same lawns that have way too many toxins to put in the garden or anywhere near the livestock...
Do you allow horses to eat lawn clippings?
We have always been told by 'horse people' that horses should never be allowed anywheres near, lawn clippings.

Probably a leftover from life in the fast lane donated to the gate <grin>
Smallaxe; Chill! It's just hay. BTW I am a horse person and can tell you that there is nothing wrong with giving them organic grass trimmings so long as they are fresh or dried without mold.

mold, not good, would not be good at all.
grass is grass, without the chems let em eat.
