Flatbed Stake Posts

We are rebuilding the flatbed on our F-600 and need some input on what material to use for stake posts.
The original stake post were welded to the side rails and are rusted in the pockets.
We're looking for something strong, but light enough so the sides can be removed for loading and unloading.

Aluminum rectangular tubing will be the lightest for the strength. I use wood because my side boards are only 2x10s.
