My Turf Tiger deck does not have full weight on all four of the chains that support it. The rear left chain is not fully tight when the deck is lower. As a result, I'm cutting a little lower on the right side. How do I adjust this out.

Also, can the springs be adjusted so the deck won't be as difficult to raise?

Thanks.

Kevin,

Carver worked on it a couple of weeks ago and got it working good. He did a little more on it this week. Now it won't cut level, and it's harder to raise the deck. I'll take it back on Tues. and see what he can do.

Jonathan:

I run a Scagg 61" z turn, and when I lube all the grease points, I soak the deck springs, raising mechanism and joints with WD-40.

It really helps keep the deck springs lubricated, and makes it much easier to raise.

Also spray a little WD -40 in your on off switch .

Good Luck!

W-d 40 is a cleanser it contains no lubricating properties
