Im looking for the most bang for my buck on a small utility tractor. Ive been looking at Kubota. The one i was looking at runs about 17G. Also looking at a John Deer Utility for aroung 18G. Anyone have any input?

Look into a cub cadet 4 wheel drive 45hp. this this is great. I could climb a 90 degree wall with it.

Also look at a power trac they are very nice, and can come with a ton of attachments from a mowing deck to a trencher

What ever brand you decide on get a hydraulic drive. They are much more efficient maneuvering in tight locations. Push the peddle forward or back and that's all there is to it. Here is a pic of our tractor. It's a Kubota 4610, four wheel drive. It's very simple to operate. It only has three gears; hi, med, and low. Once put in gear all you have to do is press the pedal and steer. Not having to change gears is wonderful because it leaves your hands free to operate bucket, blade, or whatever.

ssouth how much weight are you lifting in the picture? I can lift 3/4 of a pallet of sod w/ my kubota 4310. but I have to have a heavy implement on back to couter weight load.
just curious what the 4600 can do.

Cheeseburger, I have no idea what they weighed. The specs say is can lift almost 2000 lbs. at full height. We have never had a problem picking anything up so far.
