I have a 2008 f350 and i get about 7-8 mpg depending on how much highway driving I do with a 6.5 x 12 tandem axle open trailer

Im going to say 7-10. Plan for the low end. I think dump trucks usually have gearing that keeps mileage really close empty or towing.

Well, I have a Chevy 3500HD. (1995) 2 wheel drive, and it gets about 5 to 6 mpg. 454 gasser... I'd recommend it to no one. No power and I don't think I could pour gas on the ground as fast as it burns it to go nowhere fast.

Get a Diesel.
