I am looking for something to be my personal secretary every morning when I turn on my computer. Something that opens when I start the computer and tells me my schedule for the day, and of course has to be customizable. Anyone have anything like this? It seems like a simple enough program so Im sure theres a million of them out there- in fact, I probably already have something like it on my computer already just dont know it. Any input would be great. Thanks!

my lawn care program does routing for my lawn crews, but I am looking for more like a daily planner that keeps my schedule for the day like what estimates I am doing, what bills need to be paid, what oil changes need to be done...things like that. I have been looking for a new lawn care software so if you have something that has these capabilities please let me know what you are using. Thanks.

not sure of the ver. of windows your running. but Outlook has a good calender.
I use lawn pro. I'm gonna get slammed here for saying that. but I got used to it.
the new windows mail does a lot too. that's in windows 7.
If not, you can go to twocows or download.com and look around should be able to find something.
I have never used them, my day is planed around the lawn care and it keeps everythign for me.
Best of luck

my sister is in the corporate world and she suggested outlook as well. What I thought would be cool would be a desktop background that functions as a daily planner as well. This time its always in your face. But she said she doesnt know of any program that does that. Maybe I should be a software programmer instead... So I guess I am trying Outlook for now.

We don't use ACT anymore, too much background CPU grinding, and it takes forever to load!
Maybe they've changed it.

I use Outlook. We have Blackberry phones with a small business server, so I really like how my phone instantly syncs with my desktop computer. It makes the calendar function a lot easier to use and helps keep me organized.

Outlook Got so involved here in the last several years. it seems ya need a beefy machine to run it and run it properly, there is a ton of stuff in it that you wont use.
I'm an old computer tech. seen outlook go from almost nothing to very technical.
it is a GREATtool and I think it's free.
Let us know how it goes.
Best of luck

I operate Solo and use Excel. I wrote the program so it will add the income to my books (also in Excel) once I show the service has been performed.

I can't get Goggle calendar to schedule using every 10 day. Seem to only allow preset dates. We use it but moving too much stuff around, all the time.
