I just converted it the mileage into Kilometers is the person out of their gourd if they think they are going to get 10 grand for it.

The truck has 419,000 kilometers on it you couldn't even get anybody interested in it. The truck is worn out I'am surprised the Duramax is still running. Around here that truck would sit on a dealers lot for ever the most you would get for it would be 5 grand.

Yeah I just had to post on here to ask because there were a couple more on there with 250k plus and people were asking like 16k-18k!!! So then i had to go to nada and see what they had to say about it and it said its clean retail was 20k! I dont know if it's only worth 5 maybe like 7ish. If it was 5 or even 6 it would be in my driveway already LOL. Also other than some injector problems for what i have read most people seem to be very happy with theirs and theres many out there with 300k plus. They seem to be more reliable than the 6.0's.

The duramax trucks seem to be a little more reliable but I still wouldn't buy a truck with that kind of mileage/kilometers. Even if that truck is in good shape the cost for a rebuilt engine would cost just as much to buy a newer truck.

I just sold my 2002 Chevrolet 4wd just like it for 14,800. The mileage was 138k miles. It sold in less than a week on Craigslist. I bought a 2007 chev 3500 dually to replace it. Duramax and Alison trans. are the way to go.

You got a pretty good price on it a truck like that would sell about the same price maybe a little less.

Not many people are interested in diesel trucks if they have over 124,000 miles on them or 200,000kms.

Did you have the Duramax in it or the 6.0? What did you pay for your 07 if you don't mind me asking?

Eh I wouldn't necessarily say that because there are plenty of people out there that but them with more than that on em. Granted they are worth significantly less I wouldn't be hesitant to buy one for the right price. I just couldnt believe this one when i saw it and then I HAD to get a second opinion after I saw the nada value.

The duramax engines in the 2500 and 3500 have the 6.6. The 2007 that i recently purchased was a 3500 2wd crewcab dually with a flatbed body-50k miles for 24,500.

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal on it. I have read about these engine going 300k on motor and trans with stock setting without a problem. Hope it last you for years to come!

i like the ebay ad, no reserve cheap and yet its at $7k reserve not met.....??? thats alot of miles even for a diesel. tranny's, ball joints, injectors, etc, they arent cheap to fix. the truck does look for clean though. im not a GM guy but i thought those early 6.6's had alot of injector problems

Id buy it. Trucks still got a good 100k to go. Especially if you can get it under 10k. Duramax is a dam good engine. And its most likely got the updated injectors in it by now.

I think 10 is an okay starting point. 8 sounds better to me. I personally would not buy a truck with over 200k with a gooseneck or 5th wheel in the bed.
