my dealer told me when i bought my mower that after 100 hrs i needed to change my hydro oil. the book doesnt say how much and my local dealer doesnt know. do any of u guys change urs or just leave it be? im gonna call my dealer tomorrow and ask him anyway, i just wondered what u guys had to say on the subject.

Seems that every model/make is different. My Lesco Viper uses 20-50,supposed to take 8 qts.,which it never does. Even after I drain the pumps.Usually around 5.
My WB uses 10-30. Takes around 5 qts. total.
The last change I went with synthetic in the Viper. When I do the WB I'll use syn. also.
The correct filter is really important.

I just bought a JD ZTrak 665 this spring book said change after 25 hours first time and then on every 100 hrs, for the cost of two gallons of oil ( which it did not take used 6 quarts to refill ) and a new filter, I plan on a change every 50 hrs.
