View Full Version : Anyone using the really big enclosed trailers?

I have been looking at enclosed trailer classifieds, and noticed there are some HUGE ones out there, like 24, 26 and even 30ft long!! I think 8.5 is the widest they are allowed to be though? Most of these huge trailers come with small living quarters though, so not real useful in lawn care, unless you wanted to take a nap during the day!! And some are over $25K!!! I would think you would need something bigger than a full size pickup truck to haul one of these around too. But I guess for those companies that must haul 5 or 6 ZTRs around, i guess it would be great, but how many need this many mowers in one day?!!

we are going to be ordering an 8.5x20 or 22 in the spring.

18 or 20 ft is about all I see. Any bigger and you should just have two crews running. But I guess it works for some people.
