Have mini fast trax 17/42. Not starting. Making a clicking sound at the solenoid. Checked battery and it is good. Do I need a new solenoid or is the starter some how stuck.

Is the starter gear trying to engage the flywheel? flywheel turns by hand?
I would check all wire connections and grounds.
Also, your sure the battery is good? volts and amps?
If all of the above is good then I would pull the starter and have it looked at.

Check your voltage at the battery while trying to start the mower.
It should be close to 12 volts with no load, and should stay above 11 or so during starting.
Point being, its possible to have a battery read ok when checked with a meter, but not be able to sustain a load while starting.

If the voltage drops off a lot, your battery could still be bad.

I have had three Kohler 17 engines that have had to have the starters replaced for exactly that symptom on my Mini Zs.
