OK i have narrowed it down to TWO different ones

first is toro Z master with a 48 inch deck
19 hoarse motor for 5600.oo
and a bagger for another 600.00 so 6200.00 brand new out the door

OR

The bad boy mower with a 23hp vanguard motor
and a 42 inch deck for 5,500
and bagger for 1000.00
told to 6500.00

both are commerical and both dealers have a good rep to them when it comes backing there mowers.

Its proven itself for many years to cut great and be reliable and has many more dealers for service and support plus the factory support is much larger and parts are much more readily available. Bad boy may be a great mower but they have a long way to go to catch up with Exmark/Toro, Hustler, Scag, and a few others.

The toro is a well built machine that cuts beautifully, but it is slower. If you are stacking a 19 Kawi with the 48" deck vs. the 23 Briggs with a 42" deck; I say the Toro all day. I hate Briggs & Stratton Vangaurd and a 42" deck is not as productive. Good Luck

I'd go BB...I've never owned a BB but you get more HP and briggs has really stepped up on their commercial engines as of late...19 Hp is too little, your going to have problems bagging and going up hills....Toro has the name, but IMO, that's all they have is name. Their product besides the new grandstands have been unimpressive in recent years.

Most people would say go with the more HP, but the Toro is a great machine, again, has been around the yard a little more that a bb. Either way, get the one that is comfortable to you, since it is you that will be on it every day, not us. Id be on a Toro over a bb, but thats just my own opinion! Good luck
