The end of February. That is my plan.

I went out on Monday, for about 4 hours and got one customer. I'm going out again tomorrow. Whenever I get free time, I just walk around and pass out business cards and fliers. Whats the worst that can happen? If you run out, Get some more printed.

Now!!!! Get out there before everyone else does. Here in about 30 days every residential will come home to about 10 flyers on there door. Get the customers before they start throwing the flyers away without reading them

The best time is right before mowing season. Thats when youll get the best response. But if you're not doing anything else and want the work theres no better time than the present.

A week before mowing season and then continue throughout the summer until you achieve the goal of clientele you wish to have.

I started out part time last year. I am hoping to go full time this year. Business is growing better then expected. I just want to be the first to market in my area.
Thanks for all the input.

I have always thought that when the temperatures start to warm up, then people start to think about their yard, but if it is cold they don't even want to think about it. What do you guys think? Am I wrong? Should I be out there Now?

I would say wait until at least the middle of march. I see you are up north a little ways so I wouldn't think you would get any warm days until later part of March.
I try to be ready in march. I will, if the weather cooperates soon enough pass out the flyer's or post cards when we get that first nice wave of warm weather. That is when people get outside and start to tinker around the yard. It is then people start "thinking green". I have good success timing my flyer's and warm weather.
