Pj, this is for my 09' Super Z 60" 31 hp Kawasaki.
Model # 928887A
Serial # 09040621
I want to verify that these are the correct Hustler part numbers for my mower:
Engine Oil Filter.........# 772079
Fuel Filter.................# 068478
Main Air Filter...........# 601652
Safety Air Filter.........# 601653
Hydraulic Oil Filter.....# 783936
I found an aftermarket Hydraulic filter, but its only 10 microns. In the Super Z brochure I have, it states that the mower comes (from Hustler) with a 25 micron filter, which is still on it right now because it isn't time to change it yet. In my opinion, that's telling me that there's a big difference in the quality of the two filters and I will only run what I think is best for my machine.
Would you recommend the 10 micron aftermarket filter or go with the 25 micron Hustler OEM filter??
I personally feel that the Hustler filter would be the better choice in this particular scenario because of the 15 micron difference between the two filters, AND because the hydraulic filter doesn't need 'regular' changing (like the engine oil filter for example) but I'm just wanting your opinion on it since you are a Hustler Rep.
Just to let you know, I will be switching to Amsoil Synthetic Motor Oil (20W-50) in the hydraulics when my mower reaches the 50 hour mark. So that's when I'll be changing the filter too.
Also, do you happen to know the Kawasaki part numbers for the engine oil filter, main and safety air filters, and the fuel filter??
Thanks in advance,
Thunderhead:)
