got a 2006 exmark 60" with 2100 hrs on it. I am told 2-3k is a typical.

i have used several machines with 2-3k hrs that still run strong..as long as they have been serviced, the sky or component lifespan is the limit. spindles go first..

I had an old toro proline 37. got it third hand. must have had a million hours but it ran strong. definately got my moneys worth ($875; sold it two years later for $550). Seems like alot of hours for the year to me. Keep in mind new hydros are expensive.

I just sold an old exmark belt drive 36" that had to be 20 years old at least...still ran like a top!

i am currently running a 22 yr old proline 36, it needs tires and belts, maybe a fresh engine, but it runs and cuts great..my favorite 36 period.
