Louisville EXPO

Hi, Jim at TURF Magazine here. Any of you planning to go to the EXPO 2002 trade show in Louisville this July? Lots of you came by our booth last summer.

Yes I plan to go. I went the year before last. It was a great show. I especially enjoyed the free bratwursts at the Koler tent. :)

We should arrange an area for LS members to come and go, like a booth inside or a tent outside (or both) where we can all meet and put faces to names. That would be neat. Anyone else think that's a good idea??

We will have a canopy at our outside demo area 20' x 10' and will keep a cooler stocked - if we run out you can find plenty of refreshment on the grounds. Thanks, Flex-Deck

Meaning the Minninite/Amish people? We used to live next door to some. Well actually they moved in next to us (1/4 mile between us really). Didn't really interact with them much. Figured it was better to leave them alone.

awm - it's right next to 6 flags/Kentucky Kingdom (whatever it is now). Don't ask me where that is LOL :rolleyes: But they are right beside each other. It is at the Exposition Center.

I plan to go with a landscaper friend of mine. Since I've never been before, does anyone know if you can buy equipment at the show or is it just for lookin' and demo? I'm looking for a good deal on a walk behind. Thanks.

Mostly it is demo only, But at the end of the show you can usually get a great deal on "Show Specials" as most companies dont want to haul all of that equipment back home.

My Wife and I will be there all weekend, I might have an employee or two with me as well.

Went to the show last year and loved it. We will arrive thursday and leave sunday afternoon.
