Not sure if dealers are allowed to post in this thread or not with the reputation here, but I'm going to post this anyway.

Our shop is located in a small town a little Northeast of Austin,Texas and was broken in to on the night of 1/23/2010 or early morning of 1/24/2010.

The stolen items were all new, with pretty much all of the Shindaiwa units being ones that are NLA since the merger with Echo.

I am posting Austin as a key location here, because it is probably unlikely that the stuff is still in our small town.. but i guess we never know.

Please see below a listing of the stolen equipment along with serial numbers. We are not a big shop, so even with insurance, the deductible still amounts to a significant amount of money that cannot be recouped in these very slow and dire times.

Any extra eyes or ears would be appreciated, and if you have ANY information of a lead, please call our local police department at (512)352-5551 and ask for detective Larson, as she is the one assigned to the case and should know what you are calling about.

Thank You, - list below - the set of numbers at the end is the serial #

You have pictures of any of that stuff ?? You can get a motion sensor that will call you. Not very expensive. You need to know when they are there. Otherwise the outcome is no good. Cameras are about useless. Just google telephone dialer. Hope ya findit. It's still your stuff.

It's all brand new. Looks just like the pictures in the books and the websites.

Newz, Out of curiosity did they cut thru a wall to get in shop. Had a ring that started here breaking into dealers and taking all the hand held equipment. They traced them to Cali with several suspected roberies on the way from Florida. Have not found the equipment yet but they know where the suspects are> Place that was broken into here was Coastal Rental Walton County
