Weather forecasting

I just flip back and forth from the 3 or 4 news channels and do a little research online for the weather forecast. What do you guys use to track weather for rain and snow?
I was looking for a device for my truck with radar, I didn't find much. I think it would come in handy if you are out working and the radar pops up indicating a storm is very close. Then I would know to stop for the time being, and I would know if I need to stop for the day, or wait it out.

My dinosaur cell phone (AT&T & MyCast subscription) has radar with a 3 minute lag time allowing me to view my county and a few surrounding it...VERY helpful WHEN you need it. It has helped me stay working when it's raining on one end of my route, and the other end is dry.
A current SmartPhone will do this as well...and better.

I have Verizon and you can get an application called accuweather.com It's like the national weather service on your phone. You can get it with pretty much any of their phones you dont have to have a real fancy one. It seems to be pretty accurate and is only $5 a month.

I was using weathertap.com it did very well for what i needed it for. I'm a stormchaser so i can pretty much tell whats gonna happen just by stepping outside though lol

nope sure isn't but it sure is hard to tell how long it will be around for!!!!!!!!!!

You don't need the internet for accuweather. Go to menu then tools on the go then get new app.

Iphone with The Weather Channel app...you can zoom in as close as a street view....works great for those pop up thunderstorms we get along the Gulf Coast during the summer.

Every morning before I start work, I look on the Accuweather Channel or on the internet. No need to spend extra money just to check weather on my phone when I can check it for free.
