zt2800 trans. maintenance

The procedure looks straightforward in the eXmark manual for the Phazer, just doesn't say how much oil.

Does anyone know the oil capacity of the zt2800 per side?

Thats gonna be 2 quarts each trans, and make sure you use 20w-50 oil .Also make sure you have no debris in the area when you do it so you dont get any contamination in the system.

Thanks. eXmark specifies Mobil 1 15W-50 synthetic, but I know how hard it is to go by memory with all the different equipment we use.

I just hot pressure washed it and a bunch more equip. Took the engine and muffler guard off to get a better stream on the trannys, but still have to be very careful to keep the work clean.

thats ok thats the guideline i gave you are out of the hydro gear service manual. Use what the manufacture tells you to use.
