you men that mow around ponds is the fishing string a problem ?
do you just mow over it or get off mower and try to wind it up ?

Another one that is close to fishing line is the erosion netting.
Gets all rapped around the spindles and have to cut it off with a utility knife.
Sorry none of the ponds or lakes we mow around allow fishing.

try getting a volleyball net off.
found it under 12" a so called lawn.

dont let it get around your spindles,hard on them--extra stress,then you have to cut it off,big mess...

It had some kind of plastic melted into the grease seal.
I think it was once a trashbag, but you couldn't tell.
You'd think that fishing line would get chopped up by the blades. But it gets wound into the spindle bearing.
So will wire, string out of carpeting etc. But the worst thing is that plastic banding or strapping for cardboard boxes.:mad:

i find oodles of fishing line in lawns of fishermen who have young sons.
cant see it until its around the spindle.:mad: :)
